The location was ideal, with beautiful countryside surroundings and only a short distance from Edinburgh.
Regarding breakfast selection, it would have been beneficial to have more variety in terms of options available.

We couldn't have asked for anything better. The facilities were fabulous, and the lodge was clean. The staff, especially Rob, were helpful and provided us with great information on walks in the area. We will definitely be visiting again.
The only small improvement needed would be more breakfast items.

The lodge was in a beautiful countryside location, perfect for scenic walks and exploring East Lothian. The hot tub and sauna were a fantastic addition, providing relaxation and enjoyment throughout our stay. We were kinda surprised by the spaciousness and lovely decor of the cabin. The wood burning stove created a cozy atmosphere, especially on chilly autumn evenings. We were lucky enough to have a clear night and experienced the very nice sight of stars while sitting in the hot tub. The owners were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our friend's birthday special by baking a cake for us. we had an amazing stay at this lovely place.
Although the lodge was generally clean, there were a few areas that could have been better maintained, such as the dusty area above the wardrobe and the dirty space under the sofa cushion. The lack of extra seats in the living room was a bit inconvenient, as we had to take turns to sit comfortably.

We had a wonderful stay at Pentland Lodge. The lodge was cozy and warm, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the log burner and the hot tub was a highlight, providing a great spot to unwind. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby villages and attractions such as Rosslyn Chapel. The WiFi was strong, great to stay connected, and waking up to the horses and Highland cattle was a unique and good experience. we highly recommend this lodge for a peaceful and enjoyable break.
While the lodge was generally clean, there were a few areas that could have been tidied more thoroughly, such as above the wardrobe and underneath the sofa cushions. the beds were a bit small, particularly for taller individuals like us.
